Perth City Riot 2014: Tag Team Turmoil!

SST stands for Samoan Swat Team, and Strong Style Thugz, two tag teams that have always been about fierce competition and taking on all comers, and current SST Tag Team Champions Grimm and Mimic, The Basso Brothers, are no different.

While they will not be present at Perth City Riot, due to wrestling for their home federation Riot City Wrestling on the same night, you can be sure that they will be keeping a keen on eye on Perth due to this match.

RAPID (Jagger Stevens and Hayden Zenith) are a team that exemplifies honor, strength, and a fierce hunger constantly driving them towards stardom. In contrast, "The Don" Michael Morleone is a battle-scarred veteran of the ring, a wily competitor who knows a thousand tricks to score the all-important victory, alongside his Sex Mafia compadre Lord London Hargreaves.

These two teams will be competing against each other for the right to face The Bassos for the SST Tag Team Championships, at Final Chapter V, November 21st/22nd 2014. Who shall be victorious on Saturday, to face the Angry Adelaideans? We shall see at Perth City Riot, August 23rd at the Cockburn Youth Centre, 25 Wentworth Parade, right next to the Cockburn Train Station and Success Shopping Centre!

Perth City Riot 2014: Stallion Running Wild!

2014 has not been "Stallion of Death" Jarrad Slate's year. Coming off of his victory against dread nemesis Dorian at Final Chapter 4, his star has taken a decided down turn.

While Slate has long recognized as one of the premiere brawlers of NHPW since his match in 2009 against "Cannonball" Kris Taylor, he has been unable to bring home the gold in high-profile matches: the Headshrinker Samu Legacy Cup Tournament, 2 Art of Fighting Championship matches, and a Hybrid Championship match.

Being the magnanimous person that he is, Percy T is providing Slate with a chance to turn his losing streak around, and show the NHPW fans his fighting spirit, with a qualifier match for the Fatal 4-Way Elimination Art of Fighting Championship! All Slate needs to do is defeat his chosen opponent, dubbed "NHPW's Largest Wrestler" and he will once more have a chance at the coveted Art of Fighting Championship!

Will Jarrad Slate bring the fire that he's known so well for, or will he crash and burn? We shall see at Perth City Riot, August 23rd at the Cockburn Youth Centre, 25 Wentworth Parade, right next to the Cockburn Train Station and Success Shopping Centre!

Perth City Riot 2014: The Firefly Challenge

"Firefly" Felix Young is a man on a mission. While he was a part of the 2014 Headshrinker Samu Legacy Cup Tournament, teaming with Warship as the Shadows of Alastor, the last flames of that group died out with their loss in the first round to The Bassos.

Ever since Felix debuted in NHPW, he has been a part of one team after another, trying to find the perfect fit. Hughesy, Hayden Zenith, Warship, and Twitch; they've worked together, as you would expect, but things just haven't felt quite right (even with his pairing with Zenith pulling off a surprise victory against The Collective at Final Chapter 4).

Therefore, he has decided to embark on a quest, to challenge any and all, from NHPW veterans to newcomers, to a fight, to find a worthy partner for his next goal: Winning the 2015 HSLC Tournament!

As soon as this request, this challenge was submitted to Percy T, he wasted no time in finding Felix an opponent: the debuting Samuel Colt!

With this being the first time Colt will have set foot in an NHPW ring, it's hard to say if Felix will have found a fitting friend to fight with... We'll see what the fallout is at Perth City Riot, August 23rd at the Cockburn Youth Centre, 25 Wentworth Parade, right next to the Cockburn Train Station and Success Shopping Centre!
